Popular Nepali rap reality show “Rap Star” finds itself embroiled in a heated controversy following a backstage clash involving contestant Boong. In an exclusive interview with MMS Entertainment, Boong shed light on the situation, revealing several grievances against the show’s management. According to Boong, contestants were provided with a cramped room devoid of privacy, experienced delays in receiving meals, and had yet to sign any contracts despite promises made by the show.
In response, the reality show released an official statement, claiming that during the filming of the previous episode, Boong became enraged and deliberately broke a beer bottle on his head, resulting in the visible wound. Furthermore, they alleged that Boong had engaged in misconduct towards the staff, leading to his elimination from the show as a disciplinary measure. The statement expressed gratitude towards the remaining contestants and judges for their support in ensuring the smooth functioning of the show.
Meanwhile, one of the main judges, Mr. D, took to social media and posted a status highlighting the show’s poor management. He stated that despite numerous requests for improvement, the management had failed to address the concerns raised by the judges. Echoing his sentiments, fellow judge DJAJ shared Mr. D’s story and expressed his own dissatisfaction with the management, stressing the need for significant improvements.
The controversy surrounding “Rap Star” has generated significant public debate and scrutiny. Fans, viewers, and industry insiders eagerly await further developments as the show’s reputation hangs in the balance.
